Q. Where can I take the MRCPsych Paper 1 examination?
A. The UK examination centres for undertaking MRCPsych Paper 1 are located in London, Manchester, Birmingham and Edinburgh. Candidates from overseas can sit the MRCPsych exam in Dublin and Hong Kong.

Q. How do I register for the MRCPsych Paper 1 examination?
A. Application forms are available from the Examinations Services Department on dates published on the Examinations Calendar. To receive application forms, please send a written request including your full name (as per your medical registration certificate) and date of birth. Application requests are not accepted by telephone.
Q. What are the fees for the MRCPsych Paper 1 examination?
A. The MRCPsych Paper 1 examination fees as of Spring 2008 are:
- UK MRCPsych Paper I - £195 / Hong Kong £300
- UK MRCPsych Paper II - £195 / Hong Kong £300
- UK MRCPsych Paper III - £195 / Hong Kong £300
Q. How do I get my MRCPsych Paper 1 results?
A. Shortly after you have completed the MRCPsych Paper 1 examination, a letter, with your results, will be sent to you via first class post. The names of all candidates who have passed will be published on the Royal College website.
